Positioned lengthways along the corner lot, Airlie sits flush against the rear fence line, creating a private, enclosed front garden sanctuary. The open-plan living and dining space flows seamlessly onto the spacious deck and landscaped garden with a Plungie pool.
Designed for its north-facing block, the home maximises sunlight and garden views, while a custom-built fence ensures privacy and retreat. Every window frames the stunning outdoor vistas, blurring the line between interior and garden. Timber tones and calming greens continue this connection indoors, enhancing the sense of sanctuary.
Mid-Century Inspired Design with a Modern Twist
Borrowing from classic Palm Springs design, Airlie blends mid-century modern elements with a fresh, contemporary feel. Unique in its rural setting, the home pairs a soft, pared-back palette with pale feature stonework. Its lowline profile feels open and light thanks to clever design.
Gentle curves bring a spa-like calm, inspired by natural shapes—the crest of waves, the coil of a palm frond. Two curved decks weave around the gardens, while the circular Plungie pool sits in the centre of a koru-inspired whorl. Organic pathways guide guests through this indoor-outdoor retreat.
Inside, details echo the garden: a curved island bench, rounded hardware, green hues, and warm timber accents. The result is a tranquil, balanced space that celebrates both nature and design.
