Comfort Inn Traralgon

A fresh, modern exterior make-over for a well regarded Traralgon motel

LOCATION: Princes Highway, Traralgon
COMPLETED: 2017

The owners of the motel, situated on a busy part of the Princess Highway in Traralgon, engaged Virtue Developments to fully renovate the façade of the building to the strict Comfort Inn specifications.

The Contract brief included working with owners to maintain bookings of the motel whilst renovations were taking place.

Works included new signage, installation of new commercial shopfront windows along the entire front of the site. Public Safety being paramount, boarding for redirecting of public foot traffic along the highway site was installed during the construction phase, overhead power protected during the erection of scaffold and for crane installation of the large windows.

Working with engineers, the commercial signage required specially designed footings and structural steel plates to ensure the weight could withstand high winds.

The result is a fresh, modern exterior to welcome and attract guests.
